You make my heart sing- layout

More Dear Lizzy product! Can you tell I was totally inspired by the whole collection? This is another LO I found online and really wanted to recreate it. I've always liked seeing those LO where the photos are part of the banner and that's the whole idea that got me going here. And I even made Pink work with photos of my son! that's a score for me!

Sweeter together-layout

More Polaroids! I was inspired by the Older Dear Lizzy collection and a similar layout I saw on line. This collection it so cute! but I have a hard time with Pink yet I totally wanted to play with all the fun bits this collection has. The LO I saw on line and loved how the Polaroids make a grid and then used embellishments to form different triangles to draw your eye all other the page. Oh and of course the fun hand stitching around the photo to make it stand out more. I had so much fun with this LO! Enjoy!

Just take a walk- layout

Play dress up -layout

This page was inspired by navy blue floral die cut by Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm collection. I've seen another scrapbooker piece together colorful scraps of paper to give the die cut some life. I had to try out the same design. I must say it was harder then it seemed. since the die cut it quite delicate and small design I wanted to make sure it looked good with the right colors. For the rest of the layout I used the Neapolitan collection by Dear Lizzy. And since the floral design was so busy I tried to keep the rest of the page on the simpler side.

lazy morning- layout

I'm so excited to share this layout with you! I made it a while back while we were still living with our In-laws but haven't had the chance to share it. I love the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection but don't really have the chance to scrapbook "girlie" events and people. So whenever I get a photo  or idea I try to use it right away with the collections that have more Pink in them. This is where this page came from. I was really inspired by all the layouts using cut-out Polaroids on pop dots in rows and columns.  This collection has some really cute mason jars (which I love) so I put the two together and this layout came to life! It took me a while to figure out the spacing for the jars, but after that was just playing with layers. Once I was done i felt as though it was a bit unfinished  so I add the grey and white twine around the edge and added it around the photos. I'm so happy with the end page.

May Haul

So I haven't been around lately, but I'm really hoping to post at least once a week. No promises. We're really close to getting the house done and I don't know how much time I'll have with crafting and blogging. I've been really inspired with the beautiful paper product that are out there lately and of course the awesome layout pages that come with them. I have a stack of prints that are waiting to be put in my albums that are really old. Like 1950s old. So I got some pretty paper that I thought would go nicely. Plus with my recent trip to NYC I wanted to make sure I documented it well with fun travel themed paper. These products are mostly from Crate Paper, American Crafts, Simple Stories and a bit of Studio Calico.
Can't wait to be in my own craft room playing with all the great Paper!

Lady in waiting - layout

Just a fun and simple layout for you guys today. This one is an older one that I haven't got the chance to post. I've been really trying to go through my stash and scrap with what I have. And I ended up buying almost the whole Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Collection when I really wasn't planning on it. So here I am a girl who doesn't like pink is scrapbooking with pink. Don't get my wrong I love the collection its super cute! I'm just having a hard time scrapbooking with it when its me, my hubby and a son. Just trying to make the most of it! Enjoy the layout!
