2 more pages from the Sock Hop kit by Studio Calico. The first layouts was a sraplift from HERE. Even though the original layout was a 8.5x11 and a single photo, I did a little stretching and added my own touch. for the 2nd layout I can't remember where I for the inspiration, but I do know that I really liked how they use the printed vellum right on the background. Last 2 layouts coming soon. Enjoy!
Sock Hop was November kit and I got 6 layouts from just one kit! And I've used quit a bit of the kit, just a few paper scraps and a bit of the embellishments are left. I feel pretty good about it. These first two layouts where inspired from HERE. I just love the use of the yellow burts paper that I had to scraplift it, and then I wasn't sure what to do with the other half so I recreated the layout. Plus these two pages go side by side so it worked out perfectly. More to come soon! Enjoy
These are my last 2 layouts from the Roller Rink (main and 1st add on) from the Oct kit from Studio Calico. I feel like I could still make a few more layouts with the paper that's left. Maybe I'll come back to it sooner or later and see what I can come up with. This first layout was inspired by a Facebook page call "90s babies only" it reminded me of all the toys and TV shows I watch as a kid that aren't around anymore. And I really wanted to remember then and maybe even my kids and see what it was like to "grow up in the 90s". The 2nd layout I got the inspiration HERE from the November kit called Sock Hop. The layout is about my 1 year old son who is such a talker (baby talk). I haven't found the prefect photo for the layout but that hasn't stopped me from making the layout anyways!
Got two more layouts for you from the studio Calico October kit called Roller Rink. As I mentioned in my first post my mojo is gone so I've been scraplifting layouts from the Gallery over at Studio calico, but I've got links! You can see the layouts I used HERE and HERE. They very similar as you can see, but of course I added my own touch. 2 more layouts coming up soon!
A couple months ago I broke down and subscribed to the Studio Calico Month Kit. Since we live with my hubby's parents during our house reno its really hard to scrapbook and find photos you want to work with. But through it all I still got some scrapping done. Now I know what you are thinking, "these layouts look familiar." well they are, cuz I don't have a scrapbook room or 80% of my stuff, my mojo is kinda lots. So what I did was go to the gallery over at studio Calico and picked out a few that I liked and scrap lifted the layout. I know, I know, not cool, but what do I do with so much Pretty paper and no Mojo?! Forgive me! But enjoy anways! more to come soon!
Its been awhile since I blogged anything about our house, or blogged at all for the matter. Tell you the truth I thought we would have moved in, but thankfully we have wonderful parents who are patient with us and letting us stay with them. So right now we are in total demo mode, but its moving along, we are actually starting to build something too. My hubby is starting the electrice and plumbing is on its on its way too. And can I say that even though these photos look totally crazy and scray but when I walk in I see the potential and how its gonna be all done! Here are some photos of the demo!
