Cali Trip Layout

We took a trip to LA California back in 2010 for a cousin wedding. But on our way there we stopped by to see my best friend in San Fransisco. I really wanted to show all the photos but of course that would take up the whole scrap book. So I picked the best ones and used the new "Amy Tangerine" line by American crafts.

I use THIS and THIS paper for my layout and in both corners they have a cluster of elements, and I just worked with it and add a few more things to even out on both side.

I need to stop buying scrapbook supplies. But I found a new craft store! Its in bonny lake... kinda far but I'm in love! Its called Ben Franklin.

Scrapbook Haul

Its another hot day here in WA and I really didn't want to stay inside on the 3rd floor. Boo! So I went to return some stuff, buy some other baby things I need and of course see what scrap goodies I can find.
This first find is from Artco store, got some papers, letter stickers and accent stickers.

this set of finds I got at TJmax got some card stock paper, letter stickers and 3 journaling booklets.

Really excited to work the new goodies! coming soon

Warm summer evening 9.8.11

Its been really warm here in WA lately. After a walk in the park we had to get Ice scream and just sit out side in the warm evening. We even found our friends on the way there, Roman and Emily.

New Layout

Recently I found Shimelle.com! I'm really liking her style of scrapbooking. And its really easy and straight forward. She even has a few videos for step by step layouts. I haven't made a layout for the longest time, and just feel like scrapbooking lately. So this is the LAYOUT I made from her "scrapbook sketch of the week". She uses a lot of paint or inks on her pages and I'm totally enjoying it too, there is something about it that just makes it that much funner to scrap!

She also does a lot of embellishment clusters, and I'm in love. ;D

On this layout, that's what I had a hard time with, all my tags are small (nothing wrong with that) and I wanted them to stand out a bit more. I know what I'm shopping for next =D
