Special Announcement

Our 2 yr old son, Ben has an announcement! He's going to be a....

He's going to be a big brother! Yes we are having a baby #2! we are so excited. I'm about 12w and due at the end of June. 

New Year

Its a new Year and a "new" beginning! I'm really excited to see what God has in store for me and my family this year! I know there will be some changes, good and bad, but God is in control and that gives me great peace and joy. I don't like making New Years Resolutions, because I break them or give up on them. But I do want to start/ challenge my self with something new [and try super super hard to fallow through with it] this new 2013 Year.

We all seen and heard about Project Life, and I love the idea behind it, but to try to make a 2-page layout EVER week seems too much for me, some weeks I cant even scrapbook one Layout! Plus I'm a stay-at-home-mom with a One year old, and that means some days are super super boring and dull. Boring as in, we clean, cook, and play, and that happens A lot during a slow week. My project life will look more like what I cleaned-and-cooked all week, not something I want to document each week and want look back at. So I've decided I want to try project life but on a smaller scale, I want to document Monthly. I'm thinking about doing 2 2-page layouts (the one with 4, 4x6 and 4, 3x4) that way I'll have 16 4x6 and same with 3x4, total of 34 pockets. That's more then enough room for photos and journaling. I haven't started yet so things may change down to just a 2-page layout. Either way I'm super excited to get my hands on supplies and get started!

So that was my first challenge to my self. The second is to take more photos. I also really want to challenge me self to us my Nikon camera instead of just my phone camera which is pretty crappy anyways. Plus if I'm starting project life that means I need photos to document with, so I'm taking up the 365 challenge I started awhile back but dropped it. I think I'll still post photos on my blog but do it weekly instead of daily.

"Dream kitchen"

So its been a little crazy around here, maybe not on my blog but in Life. I've been trying really hard to have post at least 3 time a week, and as for 365 I know I haven't been keeping up with it, but I am up loading them when I can. So you may ask what is so crazy going on around my parts of the woods, well, we are in the market of buying a house (you may have seen some of the 365 photos). And we actually put an offer on one,(YIKES) and so far so good, that we even have a house inspection soon. But let me tell ya, IT NEEDS WORK! I was laughing to my hubby one day saying "a women/girl dreams about getting married,having kids and then her dream kitchen". lol. I don't know about you but that's my dream and well 2 out of the 3 have come true. And now the kitchen, well, in order to get that "dream kitchen" we're gonna have to make it. Like I said that house needs work and because of that we'll be able to make the kitchen we want. So far we've come up with a pretty sweet kitchen! below is what I'm think it could be like (this is just the tip of the iceberg on how it will look). We're only doing the inspection and i've already have everything planned out, too soon? lol. God willing everything will be ok and go through.

So most likely in the next few months I won't be posting must. I'm planning to take tons of before and after (and during) photos so that I'll try to update and have some fun post for you of our renovation!  

 

Past few months

I haven't been post much lately. Being pregnant is wearing me out! hehehe, but i cant complain its been a blessing the whole time! And we're really excited to meet baby Ben!

Went hiking to Mt. Rainier at 8m! woo hoo! we didn't get far but it was the perfect day to be out!

I'll post more photos of the baby showers and the cool decor we did! yay! It turned out awesome! I'll also post the baby room ideas that are going through my head and what i have planned. Can't wait to share everything!

Vendor Fair after math.

I guess I never talked about the Vendor fair we had at my job. The whole event went great! The turn out of people and all the people that set up a table was awesome. I, as you know had my little set up too, I didn't really have a "business" but to be involved in the community and at work I decided to sell my cards. Only thing was I didn't sell any. But that's ok. it was still fun! My hubby even came out and supported me the whole time. so sweet. Here's my little set up below.

Need something New

I've been thinking about my blog lately, and I've decided to make some [good] changes. I thought about how this blog is not 'me', not really. Or at least not what I want it to be. so I'm gonna try something new for this month of September (and yes its already into Sept, but better late then never). I have a cook book from Ikea called 'A Recipe a Day. 365 Recipes.' I love food, and i need to cook more at home so i thought it would be fun to go through the cook book by months. I counted out about 13-15 main dishes, 7-10 side dishes and 6-8 sweets for each month. and for me that mean to go through the whole book I'll have to cook at least 3-4 times a week. I can/should do that. I'll be posting what I've cooked and how it was. I hate to say it but I got the idea from Julie and Julia. September will be my trial run.

Out of this I'm hoping to have more of a consistency. Aside from the food I gonna try to post/ made more card or scrapbook layouts and made just some other random inspiration.

Still here

So I’m officially not going back to Hokold Dev. or at least this year. As some know I got laid off about 2 months ago (or in Jan) and this moth March they offered me to come back. First they said full time till July and then part time. But of course I need full time only and not just for 3 months. So the manager, I guess pulled some strings and said that they will take me full time… sound good but everyone I talked to said its better to stay here at Dobler management. I do miss Hokold Dev. I knew everything there and everyone, but its ok I feel like I can grow more here at Dobler then Hokold.
The other day, I went to a class where they train you and teach and show you new things. They also talk about leasing for a living and where you can move to other positions, like if I wanted to I can’t be a manager of a small property, or still work as a leasing agent for a few years and then more to a manager to a bigger property. Not sure at this time what I want to do. I’m just gonna work as a leasing agent.
Ooh we are going to Resolved Conference! Yay cant wait. Its all the way in June but we are defiantly getting ready. And we’ve talk to some other friends and they are going too! So its gonna be good. Of course LOTS of Info for 3 straight days but its worth it! This years theme is Sin.
I’m happy to say that about a week ago I’ve decided that I want to know the bible more. I remember valik saying that “to understand the new testament I need to know the old.” So I started to reading from the beginning. You have no idea how many times ive started but never got far, but I was young and couldn’t understand. Yay I’m happy!

New job

So today was my first day of work. I'm doing the same thing i was before. working in apt office as a leasing agent. but i kinda don't like this new place. i like the old place better it wasn't so pushy. here its like "SELL SELL SELL!!!" grr i don't like that. maybe tomorrow will be better. plus i really miss being so close to home. i can just wake to home on my lunchwhere here i spend it in the car. lame!
