Love hearts

Again thanks to Danni Reid from 2 peas that this next card was even possible. I was pretty much brain dead for Vday cards, but when I saw her cards made with the "Paper hearts" collection by Crate Paper, I was in Love. And I mean In Love, they were perfect! don't you think so?
I didn't have the craft envelope that Danni used so I just made my own. Do you like it? Took me a while but I'm very happy with the way it turned out! All the hearts I used my Cricut machine to cut them out.

New cards

Just some super sweet and simple cards that anyone can recreate! I'm not sure that the collection is called, I just know I got everything at Walmart for a dollar each (paper, chipboard, rhinestones ) not bad!

Family Christmas Card 2011

Since our little family is grow, I really want to have a family photo done every year around Christmas time and send it out to our family's. For this year I took our family photo using a tripod. For the card, I got the inspiration from a past card I made using my Cricut Machine. I made the card 6x4 to fit a slandered size photograph. All the cards front side are different, and had space on the inside to write my greeting (I forgot to take a photo of all of them before sending them out, oops)

Our friend had a baby too

Our good friends had baby about a month ago and I had to use the "Baby steps" cartridge by cricut! It was kind of hard to cut out the nose because it was so small but in the end (after cutting it out about 4 time) it all worked out ok. Enjoy!
Happy November!

Fall Cards

Its already the month of October and that mean colder and shorter days. It also mean that I really need to work on my holiday cards. All these cards but the last one was made from the Cosmo Cricket line called Nutmeg. Its an older line, but I've see the paper in most scrapbook stores. I just love this collection! The colors are the perfect Fall colors for a paper collection!

This one was made with a E.S.I paper collection (also an older one). And the Pears where cut with a cricut machine.

2 Birthday cards

These two cards I made this month for my little niece and nephew! We couldn't make it to their birthday party's so I just mail them! What 5yr old wouldn't like getting mail?
For both cards I used the 'sweethearts' cartridge for cricut! Even though its a love/wedding themed cartridge I still used it for little kid and birthday! I love how they turned out! Enjoy

Up coming wedding

My cousin is getting married in Utah this coming weekend, and sadly we're not gonna make it. But at least some of my cards are going to be there!

This card below I used the "sweethearts" Cartridge. I'm really happy with the way the card turned out, and how it even cuts out the bow tie.

This last one below I used the "wild card" cartridge. I'm gonna have a video posted soon, plus a small challenge I'm giving my self! Really excited about it!

Secret Santa

Every year my side of the family does a secret santa drawing on Thanksgiving! that way it will give us enough time till Xmas! This is my second year making the name drawing cards. This year I used my cricut to cut out the "present" envelopes and the tages from the "Sweethearts" cartridge. Who would have thought! Then useing "wild card" cartridge; font, I cut out the names for each person. Then after we do the drawing you can use the tag on the Gift you are giving. smart, or what? I'm so excited for my family to see them! yay for the holidays!

I've also managed to make a few cards last night during our snowy night. Yes thats right snow in WA in November! Oh did I tell you how cold it is. today highs are 25F and lows 11F!!! 11?! I dont think i've ever seen 11F. I think i may just wear a hat to bed tonight.

I'm trying really heard to get in the mood to make Xmas cards, but I feel like the season is coming so fast that I havent had the chance to enjoy Fall. So I started with some tags. I used the "sweethearts" cricut cartridge to make the cut-out of the gift boxes in the tags. Cute huh? and its a "love/ wedding" cartridge! who knew!?
