Christmas cards- last ones
ok ok, I know I said no more Christmas cards, but I ended up making a couple more. I had a lot of the paper left over and just left bad for not making the most of it. We just had a couple of snow days and it left right to make some more Xmas cards! so here they are Enjoy!
I'm gonna go back to drooling over all the new product that is coming out at CHA! eeekk! Can't wait to get my hands on some of the collections!

LIl' Pumpkin- layout
This was a pretty simple layout I made using and older line by cosmo cricket called Nutmeg, and some other thanksgiving paper i had. I used regular white paint behind the photos to make them stand out a bit more. Then made a little collage with the title and journaling.

MT. Baker Cabin- layout
Just finished this layout a few days ago. I used the paper I have left over from the "North country" by Prima. And I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I didn't follow a layout so its all me. Now that I look at the layout i feel like the left side is too blue, and maybe I'll add some paint splatters, what do you think? Oh and of course the journaling.

My creative process
Just thought I'd a quick post on what I'm planning to work on for the next few days! I've been really wanting to make a mini album for a while, the only thing that was stopping me is; that I feel like they take way too much time. Lately I've been really looking in to mini books and found some awesome inspiration! My first inspiration was by Shimelle.com. She made a layout of 2011 in review. That's what I'm planning to make, a mini book or "2011 in review". Next I found a new blog by Swissgirldesigns.com. She has really unique and simple way of making mini albums. Instead of buy a pre-made one, I'm planning to put one together my self, and adding smaller pages and Envelopes that will work for me. And my last inspiration was Dear Lizzy. She had made a"this year: mini book". I just love how simple and color it is at the same time! So to get started, and not get too distracted by other pretty albums, I've preplanned it [kind of]. in my planning notebook I printed pictures that really inspired me to make my own album, and to keep it simple, fun and hopefully easy.
I'm so excited to get started on this mini book! wish me luck and I'm off to picking/ printing photos, and picking pretty paper to work with!

Birthday card and 2012 resolution
Super excited about this birthday card for a boy I made a while back. Its a older collection by BasicGrey called Wander. but I'm in love with it and in the New Year I'm planning to work with it a bit more. I realized I have a bad habit of buying pretty paper and them not using all of it, and then buying more pretty paper and then more. But its so pretty, and so many new lines are coming out!
My new years resolutions is to use what I have before buying more. that doesn't mean i won't buy anything new, but I will [try really hard] to use and finish off that paper I have. UGH I hate make resolutions, but this one does seem reasonable.

New cards
Just some super sweet and simple cards that anyone can recreate! I'm not sure that the collection is called, I just know I got everything at Walmart for a dollar each (paper, chipboard, rhinestones ) not bad!
