Cali Journey- Daybook

So excited to share this day book that I've put together! The products I've used was mainly by Crate Paper called story teller, Amy Tangerine stickers and a little bit of Basic Grey, oh and Studio Calico wood veneers. On my bday Haul HERE, I talked a little bit about how I totally fell in love with the crate paper collection and knew just how to put it to good use, well here is the final project and I love it! Every one is into day books lately so I thought I'd give it a try. This trip is a bit old (2009), I even made a layout about it, but felt like I didn't tell the whole story through a 2 page layout HERE. So this was the prefect project to do everything i wanted. All I have left to do is the journaling to finish everything off. Anyways Enjoy! and let me know what you think!

Hello Handsome- layout

I was super excited to play with the paper from My Minds Eye as seen in THIS haul video. I stayed with all of My Minds Eye papers and stickers. I then added some twine and a star punch.  For the title I used Basic Grey sticks and the yellow ones are The Paper Studio, got them at Hobby Lobby (we finally have one in WA!) For the layout I got the inspiration from some other crafters who used the same paper over at 2 Peas, you can see the Layout HERE.  As you can see they are really similar. Hope you Enjoyed!

"Dream kitchen"

So its been a little crazy around here, maybe not on my blog but in Life. I've been trying really hard to have post at least 3 time a week, and as for 365 I know I haven't been keeping up with it, but I am up loading them when I can. So you may ask what is so crazy going on around my parts of the woods, well, we are in the market of buying a house (you may have seen some of the 365 photos). And we actually put an offer on one,(YIKES) and so far so good, that we even have a house inspection soon. But let me tell ya, IT NEEDS WORK! I was laughing to my hubby one day saying "a women/girl dreams about getting married,having kids and then her dream kitchen". lol. I don't know about you but that's my dream and well 2 out of the 3 have come true. And now the kitchen, well, in order to get that "dream kitchen" we're gonna have to make it. Like I said that house needs work and because of that we'll be able to make the kitchen we want. So far we've come up with a pretty sweet kitchen! below is what I'm think it could be like (this is just the tip of the iceberg on how it will look). We're only doing the inspection and i've already have everything planned out, too soon? lol. God willing everything will be ok and go through.

So most likely in the next few months I won't be posting must. I'm planning to take tons of before and after (and during) photos so that I'll try to update and have some fun post for you of our renovation!  

 

Lucky - layout

I had take those two photo strips using my phone and the app called Pocketbooth. My hubby and I were on a date when we took those photos, they are silly and fun, just how a photobooth should be. The background paper I used was from the June haul video, its from Studio Calico. The rest of the paper is from My Minds Eye as seen in THIS haul post. Also added some doodle bug twine and Amy Tangerine stamps, and cant forget the back paint splatters. What do you think of this Layout?

Bday Haul

My birthday was last week and I'm just now getting around to post my Bday Haul. I'm bad, I really shouldn't have spent so much, but its my bday right?

I meanly got Crate Paper, the little boy blue is going to be for my son's birth photos and I was planning on buying it anyways. Studio calico wood veneers was a must! they are so darn cute! As for the other crate paper collection, well that's where I was bad. I've been eyeing to for the longest time! Plus when I saw THIS blog post by Sasha Farina I fell more in love *wink*. And actually I'm in the middle of working on a project with that collection, and here is a hit, its really similar to what Sasha Farina has done. Can't wait to get back to scraping! Have a great weekend!

Oh and whats this your ask? well is my Bday present that I've been dreaming of for a while. A tattoo! Crazy I know! what do you think!

CHA Favorites

So as we all know CHA is going on in the Windy-city and I wish I could be there. But its alright I get to see all the new goodies that are coming out soon from the comfort of my home! My favorite thing about Summer CHA is that they start to release the Christmas lines. Those are some of my all time fav, plus I start looking into what I'm going to buy for that season! cant wait! Congratulations! card

Here is another card using the Mat stack 3 from an earlier Haul video I've made. I love how easy it was to use and how you can make the perfect card with in minutes, using the most basic supply's. This card was made for  a wedding we went to back in June. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday cards

Back in June I made a Haul video and had bought some Papertrey ink dies. After I made the video I was itching to play with them and here is what I came up with. I searched  some ideas to use the Mat stack 3 dies and one idea was to use the negative piece of paper. I also just love the word dies and had to use them too. What do you think?
